Terms of Service

By accessing or using Codeways Services(the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including customers, account managers, and administrators.

Codeways Services, operated by Codeways LLC, is a service management platform that enables businesses to manage hosting services, maintenance contracts, billing, invoicing, and customer support.

The Service is provided on a subscription or one-time fee basis depending on the service package selected. Features and availability may vary by plan.

You may register using an email address and password, or through a supported third-party identity provider such as Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date. You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of someone else without authorisation.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from the Service
• Use the Service to store or transmit content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis depending on your plan. One-time service fees are charged at the time of purchase.

All payments are processed securely via Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorise us to charge your payment method for all applicable fees.

Invoices are due on the date specified. Overdue accounts may be suspended after a grace period. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice.

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at info@codeways.lk within 14 days of a charge if you believe it was made in error.

The Service and all content, features, and functionality therein are owned by Codeways LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service (such as support ticket messages). By submitting content, you grant Codeways LLC a limited licence to use that content solely to provide the Service.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our data practices.

The Service integrates with third-party providers including Stripe (payments), Appwrite (authentication and database), DigitalOcean (infrastructure), and Resend (email). Your use of these integrations is subject to those providers' terms and policies. Codeways LLC is not responsible for the actions or policies of third-party services.

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. Scheduled maintenance, updates, or events beyond our control may cause temporary interruptions. We will endeavour to notify users of planned downtime in advance.

Either party may terminate the account at any time. You may cancel your subscription through the billing section of the portal. Codeways LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.

Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease. Data associated with your account will be retained for up to 30 days after termination to allow for retrieval, then deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Codeways LLC does not warrant that the Service will be error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Codeways LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Codeways LLC in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice within the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the relevant jurisdiction.
